How to Look Good and Feel Great…in 4 Easy Steps!

Feeling like a zombie this morning? Make the change and feel great every day.

It’s a challenge to get out of bed for work in the mornings. We get it. The alarm shrieks and we all wish it could be Sunday again and we could have an extra hour in the warmth. There are times where we wish our hair would go the way we want it to, or that we actually had time for a cup of coffee and some breakfast in the morning. There is a cure to this fatigue and low self-esteem however…if you follow some simple rules.

Step 1: Get enough sleep.

It’s one that we all know we need, but never do anything about. Night owls will understand that the evenings aren’t for sleeping, but for catching up on the next episode of the series you’re watching or being glued to a game on your phone. Surprisingly, almost half of us are not getting enough sleep and are only managing 6 hours or less each night. This will obviously have consequences on Monday morning. The average adult needs around 9 hours of sleep per night to be able to function properly and be productive. Having an early night won’t be the worst thing in the world when you have an early start the next day!

Step 2: Eat and drink well.

We all like a cheeky take-away now and then but is it really helping you to feel good? Maybe at the time you feel great as your stomach is filled and it was oh so tasty. It goes without saying that this isn’t good for you especially not on a regular basis. Eating well and drinking 8 glasses of water per day is recommended to feel great on the inside.

Step 3: Pamper yourself.

A little pampering never hurt anyone…only boosted their self-esteem! Wherever you live, from London to Yorkshire, Birmingham to Sussex, there is help available for you to look and feel a million dollars. Whether you’re looking for Botox and cosmetic treatments, hairdressers or nail salons there are plenty of options around to make sure you treat yourself once in a while.

Step 4: Have fun.

Grab a bunch of friends, have a meal out or simply do what you like to do. Making time for yourself and your hobbies is essential. Laughter is the best medicine, and there’s nothing like being with the important people in your life to feel good about yourself and to keep smiling. You never know… getting up might not be such a chore in future!
